Privacy notice

This notice covers sundaysleeper.com, the Sunday Sleeper ESPN connector extension, and the optional ChatGPT connection helper.

Account and fantasy-league information

We store your Sunday Sleeper username, a one-way password hash, session records, connected league and team identifiers, and fantasy data needed for the dashboard. League data can include team and manager display names, rosters, scoring rules, schedules, scores, projections and transactions.

ESPN connector

The connector checks supported ESPN team-page addresses and Sunday Sleeper tabs to identify the team and destination account during setup. After you explicitly approve the connection, it reads the ESPN authentication cookies named espn_s2 and SWID and sends them with the selected league, team and season to sundaysleeper.com over HTTPS. The app stores the connection credentials and league snapshots encrypted on the server so it can refresh league data and provide features you request or enable.

The extension does not collect your general browsing history, ESPN password, payment information or unrelated page content. It does not display or persist ESPN cookie values in extension storage. Its temporary browser-session storage holds setup tab identifiers, incognito status and a setup timestamp; automatic connection assistance only acts during the setup window. The extension itself does not change ESPN lineups during connection setup. Separate dashboard actions and enabled scheduling can make roster changes as described in those features.

Optional ChatGPT features

If you connect ChatGPT and request an insight, we send the fantasy information and calculated analysis needed for that request to OpenAI using your authorized connection. ESPN cookies and Sunday Sleeper passwords are excluded from those prompts. The server stores your ChatGPT authorization encrypted. OpenAI’s own terms and privacy notice apply to its services. Connecting ChatGPT does not give Sunday Sleeper access to your existing ChatGPT conversations or memories.

Support requests

The support form stores the username and contact email you choose to provide, your message, its topic, timestamps, status and support replies. Message content is encrypted on the server and accessible to authorized support administrators. You can read a request and its replies using its private reference. Anyone who has that reference can read the request, so keep it private. Email notifications are not currently sent. Requests are retained for up to 90 days after the latest update and are removed during subsequent support processing.

Use, disclosure and security

We use information to connect your league, operate the dashboard, calculate fantasy analysis, handle support and protect the service. Hosting providers process information needed to operate the service. Optional AI requests are processed by OpenAI. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or use extension data for purposes unrelated to the connector’s function. Access to data is limited to operating, securing and supporting these features or where legally required.

Connections use HTTPS. Sensitive connection records, league snapshots and support messages are encrypted at rest; passwords are hashed. Essential session cookies keep you signed in. Server access and security logs may include IP addresses, request paths, timestamps and browser information. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can remove a saved ESPN connection in Connection settings and disconnect ChatGPT there. Revoking a ChatGPT connection in OpenAI’s settings is a separate option. Removing the browser extension stops its browser activity but does not automatically delete server data. Contact us through Sunday Sleeper support for account deletion, privacy questions or other data requests. Do not put passwords, session cookies or connection codes into a support request.
